International Projects

AmazoniaHack: An open innovation hackathon for the Amazon Rainforest

LITU is co-organised the second edition of AmazoniaHack which took place virtually on November 18 and 19, 2023 and brought together students and technology professionals from all over the world to build open innovation solutions to the Amazon forest monitoring challenges proposed by IBAMA, MapBiomas/Imazon, ICV and the Geo Girls group (IFPA). The third edition will take place this fall.

Widening the Lens: Making Space for Alternative Visions

European Solidarity Corps project in collaboration with Down Tenerife. This project aims to provide a platform for individuals with Down Syndrome to express their inner worlds through filmmaking. By means of creative expression, the project seeks to raise awareness about Down Syndrome, challenge stereotypes and promote inclusion.
